Secret Fire Pit

A serpentine path leads to a concealed fire pit area located within a wooded and previously overgrown and unused corner of this garden.

Initially, we focused on preserving and realising the potential of the existing garden by clearing the scrubby undergrowth and protecting beautiful mature trees and shrubs by raising their crowns and pruning for health and shape. From there, we added carefully selected specimen trees and low maintenance shrubs to new beds on either side of the path to layer up this soft woodland scheme. Subtle lighting marking the path offers just a glimpse into this hidden space at night.
