Rotunda

 A garden designed alongside a complete renovation of the farmhouse style home with the aim of bedding the building within its surrounding landscape. 

The central curved rotunda was created with basalt reclaimed on site.  These curved walls provide focal points, create view lines to the fields beyond and most importantly, give this busy family a place to stop, rest and entertain in the heart of this beautiful garden.  Beds full of abundant, informal planting soften the surrounding walls and nod to the garden’s rural setting.
